Managing Page breaks
Page breaks interrupt the printing of a page and create a new page on which to continue printing the following document. Interruptions affect both ink and braille printing.
The customization window collects all the page breaks in your document in a single list.
- List: A list shows all page breaks. The list is divided into two columns, the first with the description and the second with the position in the document expressed as a percentage. The description of each break is given by the text in which it is present or the one immediately following. The list is associated with a contextual menu that contains the management commands;
- Delete: button to remove one or more page breaks;
- Close: to return to the original document.
A page break is added using the Insert/Page breaks/Add break menus. The shortcut key is Ctrl+Enter. A new interruption always creates a new paragraph. The new paragraph is associated with page breaks.
To delete one or more page breaks you can use the management window, or you can use the Insert/Page breaks/Delete breaks menu. Deleting page breaks acts on the gap on which the cursor is positioned, or on breaks on the selected part of the document.
